The driver of a semi-truck hits a pedestrian in a crosswalk, drags the person to death, and flees the scene in West Wendover, Nevada, according to available information.

At approximately 3:50 a.m., a semi-truck, while making a left turn from Wendover Boulevard onto a frontage road, collided with a man within the crosswalk, according to available information. The impact led to the man being dragged for several hundred feet before the semi-truck came to a stop on the I-80 on-ramp of exit 410. The man, identified as an adult, was left at this location. West Wendover police released a statement indicating that the victim’s lifeless body was discovered on the on-ramp by law enforcement officers.
