Semi-Truck Slams into Moriarty, New Mexico Building, Killing One
A semi-truck careened off of Interstate 40 and into a building in Moriarty, New Mexico on Thursday, killing one person and critically injuring two others.
The City of Moriarty Fire Department said the crash occurred around noon when the semi veered off the highway and plowed into a metal building. Two people were inside the building at the time, and one was pronounced dead at the scene. The other person and the semi-truck driver were both taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to available information.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Torrance County Sheriff’s Office.
