Semi-Truck Crash Kills One, Injures Another in Napa, CA

On Friday, authorities identified a Napa, California man who died on Oct. 30 in a head-on collision with a semi-truck on the Silverado Trail. He was driving a Toyota Camry. Luis Padilla Quezada, 57, crashed into a northbound Kenworth tri-axle truck with a flatbed trailer, according to a spokesperson for the Napa County Coroner’s Office. The crash occurred near the 5300 block of Silverado Trail in north Napa, according to available information. 

The two vehicles collided head-on, with the Toyota sustaining the brunt of the impact.

Padilla Quezada was pronounced dead at the scene, according to available information.  The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the crash.
