Man Hurt After FedEx Truck Hits Home on E Lee Ave in Sherwood, AR

Sherwood, AR (August 5, 2026) – A man was injured when a FedEx truck crashed into a home on East Lee Avenue in Sherwood on Sunday, August 2. The truck struck the house shortly after 11:20 a.m.

Darren McAdoo said the truck entered through the dining room and continued into a bedroom. Emergency units arrived and secured the damaged property.

McAdoo, who was inside the home with his family, fractured his pelvis and now uses crutches. His four children, ages 2 to 13, escaped unharmed.

The truck came to a stop near three of the children. Debris covered the floors, and portions of the walls in both damaged rooms collapsed.

Crews later covered the opening in the house with plywood. McAdoo said a tree from the yard was pushed through the home and came to rest on a futon.

Authorities continue to investigate why the truck left the roadway and struck the home.
