Two individuals tragically lost their lives in a collision on U.S. 24 near I-469 in eastern Allen County, as confirmed by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department in mid-September.

The incident took place near the intersection of Bruick Road within the eastbound lanes, as reported by the Indiana Department of Transportation website.

According to officials, a semi-trailer traveling eastbound veered across the grass median, colliding with a westbound pickup truck towing a trailer. Eyewitness accounts at the scene also noted the involvement of a third vehicle, although fortunately, no injuries were reported for its occupants, according to available information.
