Head-on Collision with FedEx Truck Kills One in Los Angeles
A head-on collision between a car and a FedEx semi-truck on Highway 138 in Fairmont, California in the greater Los Angeles County region on Friday, November 3, 2023, resulted in one fatality.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision occurred at approximately 9:14 PM at the intersection of Highway 138 and 250th Street. When CHP and the Los Angeles County Fire Department units arrived on the scene, they found a car and a semi-truck involved in a head-on collision.
One person was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was evaluated for minor injuries, according to available information.
The identity of the deceased victim has not yet been released.
