FedEx Truck Crash Injures Driver on Homestead Ave in Woodbridge, NJ
Woodbridge, NJ (September 3, 2026) – A driver was injured after a car became pinned beneath a FedEx box truck near Homestead Avenue and Esse Avenue in Woodbridge on Wednesday morning, September 2.
Emergency units arrived shortly after receiving a report that the car was trapped beneath the box truck. Crews also found that one of the truck’s saddle tanks had ruptured, causing diesel fuel to leak onto the roadway.
Working with a hazmat team, crews used air bags to lift the box truck and a winch to pull the car free. They then removed the driver from the vehicle. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Local authorities are investigating what led to the wreck.
Our thoughts are with the injured driver, and we hope they make a full recovery.
What Should I Do After a FedEx Truck Accident in Woodbridge, NJ?
If you are hurt in a FedEx truck accident in Woodbridge, get medical care, report the crash, and keep records related to what happened. These steps can help document your injuries and preserve information you may need for a claim.
Once you are able, write down what you remember about the crash, including where it happened and what you noticed before and after it. Keeping your own notes can help you remember details later if questions come up during the claims process.
When a commercial delivery truck is involved, responsibility may extend beyond the driver. Vehicle ownership, employment relationships, maintenance records, and the details of the crash can all affect who may be involved in the claim and how responsibility is assessed.
If an insurance company contacts you, stick to the facts and avoid guessing about anything you do not know. Statements made early in the claims process may be reviewed later, so keep your account clear and limited to what you remember about what happened.
To support your claim, keep track of missed work and other expenses related to your injuries. Pay records, receipts, and similar documents can help show the financial losses you faced and how the accident affected your income during your recovery.
