FedEx Semi Crashes into Amazon Semi Truck

February 15, 2024 Firm News

Two major players in the shipping industry, Amazon and FedEx, had trucks collide in a fiery February collision on the 19th day of January, 2024 on interstate 10 in Avondale, AZ. The collision between a FedEx semi and an Amazon semi caused both drivers involved in the crash to suffer injuries.

The Amazon semi caught fire as a result of the crash. The collision was captured by eyewitnesses and live traffic cameras. The fire led to debris scattered across the freeway. Cleanup efforts were complicated, and multiple lanes on westbound I-10 were closed for both cleanup and investigation.

Three other vehicles pulled over on the side of the freeway as the horrific collision occurred. The Department of Public Safety initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the collision.
