Commercial Truck Crash Destroys Restaurant, Injures Two in Texas
A runaway 18-wheeler caused significant damage to a local restaurant and injured two people in a collision on March 4, 2024 in Tatum, Texas.
At approximately 4:30 PM, a semi-truck failed to stop at the intersection of highways 43 and 149, striking the passenger side of a sedan entering the intersection. The truck then careened off course, ultimately crashing into the side of T’s Cafe and Catering.
Two individuals involved in the initial collision were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Fortunately, no one was inside the restaurant at the time of the impact, as the establishment closes at 2 PM.
