Big Rig Hits Pedestrian in Fatal Utah Accident

Last Saturday evening near Moab, Utah, as reported by the Utah Highway Patrol the driver of a tractor-trailer hit a pedestrian, claiming his life.

According to Trooper Luis Silva from UHP, the victim, a man in his 50s, was walking along US-191 near milepost 137, approximately eight miles north of Moab. The collision occurred around 6:20 p.m. when the semi-truck struck the pedestrian, according to available information. 

The injuries sustained proved fatal for the victim.
